    Sa nu faca aceeasi greseala pe care a facut-o Mercedes care a crescut preturile prea mult ducandu-se pe segmentul “upper high end” care e foarte mic si exclusivist. Au inceput sa le scada vanzarile pe langa diluarea brandului cu denumirile la electrice si concurenta din China.

    Cat despre lansarea jocurilor pe PC se pare ca sunt un pic speriati de noul Xbox care o sa suporte Steam si de Valve cu Steam Deck si Steam Machine.

    La ce sa iti mai cumperi PS5/ PS6 daca jocurile “exclusive” merg pe PC, Xbox, Steam?
    E sah mat la tot business-ul Sony.

    Aici vorbim de jucatorul “casual” nu de cei “hard core” ca noi.

    Cel mai mare pericol pentru ei e Valve cu Steam OS.
    Valve face ce nu a fost in stare sa faca Microsoft cea mai mare companie de IT care are in portofoliu atat Windows cat si Xbox, destul de ironic, nu?

    Valve ar fi un pericol daca ar dori sa-si vanda Steam Machine-ul la un pret competitiv dar ei nici nu se gandesc la asa ceva. Oricat de mult ar costa un PS5, Steam Machine-ul va fi mult mai scump si cu specificatii mai slabe.
    Casuals nu vor renunta la consola ca sa treaca la un mini-PC, mai ales daca au deja o librarie mare pe PlayStation.

    Noul CEO pare sa treaca de la strategia esuata cu live-services la una bazata pe exclusive deci cred ca anul acesta vor atrage multi jucatori noi cu jocuri ca Wolverine si GTA 6; daca anul viitor reusesc sa lanseze Intergalactic si urmatorul joc Santa Monica atunci nu le va fi rau deloc .

    Puteam sa jur ca fac asta deja, am mai patit sa-mi dea mesaj ca nu sunt conectat la internet pentru a verifica licenta jocurile cumparate digital (nu descarcate prin PS Plus). De curand am observat si ca Steam face exact acelasi lucru.
    Si partea asta e gresita - " ... the DRM Policy Sony Mocked Xbox For in 2013" - Sony a facut misto de Xbox pentru faza cu used games, cand vroiau sa blocheze refolosirea jocurilor pe disc pe mai multe console; nu era vorba de digital games.

    Citisem inițial că măsura se aplică tuturor jocurilor. Dacă e doar pentru jocurile cumpărate digital, e nasol, dar măcar nu forțează cei care au jocul pe disc să facă la fel. Nu prea înțeleg însă ce vor să combată aici. Cât timp consola este nemodificată, contul este oficial, jocul digital nu poate să dispară din librărie.


    PS: Eu nu mai fac actualizări de firmware pentru PS5 decât dacă nu am de ales. Am tot făcut actualizările cât de repede am putut până acum. Am o bănuială că PS6 va fi doar digitală la început, chiar dacă (poate) va veni cu 2 TB stocare. Despre prețul PS6 am spus că eu cred că va fi minim la niveul PS5 Pro.

    Nu cred ca se tinea cont ca jocul e digital sau pe disc.

    Și dacă verifică online care este problema? Mai există în ziua de azi persoane care nu mai au acces la internet ? Cu ce m-ar putea afecta pe mine, userul obișnuit? Dacă ți-au tăiat cablu de net ca nu l-ai plătit, îți faci un hotspot de pe telefon ce naiba

    Eu am fost în situația asta sărbătorile trecute când am luat cu mine PS5 și nu aveam legătură bună la WiFi-ul de acolo. Când erau multe dispozitive în timpul zilei și PS5 nu "vedea" rețeaua WiFi nu puteam să mă conectez la serverele Sony și nu putea juca orice joc care are nevoie să fie online din diferite motive. Asta se întâmplă rar, dar se întâmplă.

    Pragmata si RE Requiem varianta retail functioneaza fara conexiune la internet si fara ultimul update pentru PS5. Sunt video-uri pe YT in care se arata asta si Capcom este aplaudat. Alte jocuri, ultimul DOOM, Elder Scrolls Oblivion Remaster (astea imi vin in minte acum) desi sunt single player only, pe disc au doar cativa zeci de MB,probabil cd-key-ul (cred), jocul il descarca de pe internet. Pe partea de librarie online am surprize cu colectia de jocuri, eu avand 2 console PS5 (una in Bucuresti si una in Germania) sunt nevoit sa dau restore la librarie ca nu-mi apar mereu toate titlurile desi ii dau update la PS5 (fiind plecat pentru cateva luni, mereu iese cate un update). Ii dau un restore licenses si se rezolva.

    In articol e vorba de politica lor referitoare la jocuri pe disc - Microsoft au vrut sa lege fiecare joc cumparat pe disc de un singur utilizator si pentru asta Xbox-ul trebuia sa fie conectat mereu la internet; de aici a venit si gafa lui Don Mattrick cand a explicat cum trebuie sa procedeze clientii lor care nu au access la internet: "Fortunately we have a product for people who aren't able to get some form of connectivity: it's called Xbox 360."

    Despre ce se vorbeste aici e ceva ce a existat in trecut deja si lucru care-l face si Steam - anul trecut eram in aeroport si am deschis Steam-ul pe laptop-ul de lucru ca sa joc Vampire Survivors. Steam-ul nu-l mai deschisesem pe acest laptop poate de jumatate de an, asa ca mi-a spus ca e nevoie sa ma conectez la internet pentru a verifica licenta jocului. L-am pus inapoi in geanta si nu am mai incercat. Alti useri au observat acelasi lucru cu Steam Deck-ul.

    Sony au explicat care e faza cu noul "DRM": PlayStation Users Report New Online License Checks, But Sony Quells Concerns .
    While unlikely to be a tangible issue for most players, there are definitely use-cases that could see a PS4 or PS5 disconnected from the internet for extended periods of time. According to a statement Does it play? gave to Kotaku, the license-checks may have been introduced to combat refund scams, but were designed to convert into unlimited licenses afterward.
    That appears to be the case, with an SIE spokesperson telling GameSpot the following:
    "Players can continue to access and play their purchased games as usual. A one-time online check is required to confirm the game's license, after which no further check-ins are required."
    Deci exista o singura verificare a licentei dupa expirarea perioadei in care poti face refund pentru ca unii utilizatori cumparau jocuri, dezactivau internetul consolei si apoi cereau refund, jocurile fiind in continuare accesibil pe consola.
    Deci e un non-issue si nu poate sa cauzeze probleme pe termen lung.
