Se pare ca Sony vrea sa introduca sistem de recenzii scrise pe Store.

Momentan au trimis invitatii pe email, pentru anumite jocuri. Merge doar daca jocul e detinut digital, recenzia se poate acorda doar pe site, celelalte recenzii nu sunt vizibile daca nu folosesti linkul de la ei: When did PlayStation start allowing written reviews? Seems to only be allowed for few games on their store pages for now. : r/playstation.

Sony’s rolled out an update for the PS Store which allows you to write and submit full-length reviews.

Only accessible on the web-based storefront for now, the new feature has been in testing for quite some time, but is now available to everyone.

It allows you to submit a 4,000-character review to go with your rating, which has been available for a while.

The feature enables you to include a title for your review as well as a full write-up, similar to Steam. You can even mark if it includes spoilers.

Fans visiting a game’s particular product page can then see what rating you awarded it, which version of the title you bought, and what you thought about it. Only those who own a game digitally can submit a review.

Sony appears to be testing dynamic pricing on PlayStation games:

A site called PSprices has been tracking prices on Sony’s digital game store and noticed something unusual: some games were being offered at different prices to different users. What’s more, those offers are tracked in the PlayStation API with experiment identifiers like IPT_PILOT and IPT_OPR_TESTING.

Dynamic pricing is nothing new and is used across a number of industries. But it’s often met with backlash and isn’t typically found in online game stores. According to PSprices, Sony is running A/B testing on prices for over 150 games in 68 regions, though the US doesn’t currently appear to be part of the experiment. For now, at least, Sony isn’t toying with raising prices. Instead, the program appears to offer discounts to select users, ranging from 5 percent to 17.5 percent, on titles like Spider-Man 2, God of War, and Red Dead Redemption 2.

Still, even if Sony’s version of dynamic pricing is focused on lowering costs for some users, it’s likely to draw ire. Customers receiving a 10 percent discount on Sid Meier’s Civilization VII probably won’t be thrilled when they find out their next-door neighbor was offered 25 percent off.

Un lucru e clar, preturile sunt mai mari. Eu iau de obicei de pe PSN jocuri retro si indie. Unele dintre ele care erau 33-35 lei acum se lanseaza la 70 (ma refer aici la Arcade Archives). Am unele jocuri in wishlist pe la ~140 lei ce nu le scade pretul de cand le-am pus acolo, de mai bine de un an. Ma refer aici jocuri ce au publisherul ININ sau Limited Run Games. Pe mine m-ar incanta sa vad discount si la astea. Nu mai intereseaza jocurile cunoscute, alea de obicei le iau in editie fizica.

Slava domnului ca tara nu e intr-o stare economica precara si acest dynamic pricing nu ne afecteaza deloc.

Presupun ca majoritatea avem un backlog suficient de mare sa nu fie o problema pentru o perioada.

Din păcate și pe disc tot digital mă simt. Am o monstră de 10gb pe disc și restul îi descarcă.

Mă gândesc dacă n-aș avea conexiune la internet, câte jocuri aș putea juca în format fizic.

Asta e tactica acum. Am dat copy paste de lene -Doom: The Dark Ages' PS5 physical release reportedly has just 85MB on disc, and Xbox isn't much bigger. Requires 85GB download to play.
Ce frustrat am fost cand am vazut asta. La mine in Germania internetul are viteza melcului turbat, 85 de GB e vreo 6 ore minim
Discul functioneaza pe post de CD-KEY la unele titluri mai nou sau ce?

O sa fie nasol rau cand o sa renunte complet la disc si atunci toate jocurile o sa fie digitale de pe PlayStation Store.
Nu o sa ai nici optiunea de a detine cu adevarat jocul DRM free ca pe PC cu GOG.
