Neo Geo MVS (Multi Video System) este un sistem tip Arcade scos pe piata in 31 ianuarie 1990 de compania japoneza SNK Playmore . Ce il face mai special decat celelalte sisteme Arcade este ca la el se pot conecta pana la 6 jocuri diferite stocate pe unitati tip disketa (ROM Cartridge) ceea ce il face primul sistem arcade universal devenind in scurt timp un sitem popular din punct de vedere economic . Datorita succesului de care a avut parte a fost precedat in scurt timp de Neo Geo AES (Advanced Entertainment System), prima consola pentru acasa tip arcade .
AES pe vremea lui era cea mai puternica consola dar nu multi l-au detinut datorita pretului sau ridicat .

In ziua de astazi diferentele de pret dintre diskete de MVS si AES sunt imense , exemplu Magical Drop 3 pe MVS ajunge undeva intre 10-30 Euro si la AES trece de 300

Sunt Foarte multe ce pot fi spuse despre aceste doua legende ...dar hai sa sa scriem despre subiectul acestui thread .....

Compania Arcade Works creat o consola avand la baza Sasiul de Neo Geo MVS . Aceasta Placa a fost modificata sa mearga pe Tv-urile din ziua de azi , fiind dotat cu un alimentator 110/220 v incorporat ,un modulator video care reda compsite , s-video si RGB cu sunet stereo.
Seamana bine cu neo Geo AES ...personal o consider o consola reusita ..si cred ca nu pti sa-i spui clona deorece are placa NVS in el deci pentru cei dornici sa joace Disketele de MVS ce le au acasa si sitemul Arcade Ocupa prea mult loc asta ar fi o solutie buna ( si daca nu ai ce face cu 499 dolari )

Neo Geo AES+:

The NeoGeo AES (Advanced Entertainment System) was released in 1990. At the time, the console was designed to bring arcade games directly into gamers’ living rooms. It featured the exact same components as arcade cabinets, with no compromises at all.

SNK will now bring this experience back to life with the launch of the NeoGeo AES+ on November 12, 2026. It will be available for €199.99 / $249.99 / £179.99 in both standard and 35th Anniversary editions. A selection of game cartridges will be sold for €79.99 / £69.99.

The console will feature a low-latency HDMI output at 1080p. It will also be capable of permanently saving high scores. A NeoGeo AES+ arcade controller, a memory card, and a classic controller will be available for purchase.
