O inițiativă bună. Dar știți ce ar fi și mai bine?
Să inventeze careva - Steam sau GOG - un program AI cu filtru (tehnologia există) care să-ți dea upscale 4K la texturi și efecte automat la toate jocurile vechi din anii 1990-2000 pe care le deții.
Că în felul ăsta, jocurile vechi pe care le-am cumpărat demult ar putea fi remasterizate GRATIS.
Și n-am mai da 30-50$ pentru o ediție remaster ca să cumpărăm din nou același joc.

Iar producătorii ar începe să se preocupe strict de creat jocuri noi și să inoveze cu mecanici de joc noi.
Toți angajații dintr-o companie și-ar pune mințile la contribuție să ofere ceva NOU pentru care merită să plătești 70-80 dolari decât să lâncezească 60-70% din personal pe remasterizarea grafică a unui joc vechi de 20-30 ani vreo câteva luni (și gata, au încasat salariile, next - alt joc vechi de 20 ani de remasterizat) pentru care plătești 30-50 dolari.
Ar munci și și-ar folosi chestia aia numită creier la modul real, gen.
Ne-am întoarce în vremurile bune când aveam mai multe jocuri noi lansate decât portări și remasterizări.
Nu ar suna grozav? Și etic?

Eventual, plătești abonament lunar pentru upscale 4K ca să întrețină serviciul și să facă experiența cât mai bună.
